What’s next?

It has been 2 weeks since completing my CCNA Wireless exam, so what I have been up to?

In the course of work I have been dabbling with scripting using Python. Thus far I have made good progress in developing scripts to bulk login into network devices and grab whatever information you need. The scripts, or bulk login scripts as I would like to call them, has proved useful when I was tasked with finding how many ports are in use on a number of 3750 switch and the entire MAC address filter list on the WLCs.

Off work I’ve just been catching up on games, like Rainbow 6 Siege and Fallout 4, and also TV shows to the point where I have become bored. I have decided to play around with a new network simulator called EVE-NG and finally spun up a VM for learning penetration testing technique.

In the coming weeks, I will be sharing with you:

  • My bulk login script and its’ other variants.
  • My thoughts on EVE-NG
  • My experience on spinning up a VM for pen-testing
  • and probably my home workstation setup
