I recently bought an Intel Gen10 i5 NUC kit so that I can load VMWare ESXI, spin up a whole bunch of VMs and leave it on for prolong periods of time without it consuming too much power or generating too much noise.
The specification of the Intel Gen10 i5 NUC kit can be found here:
As the NUC is a kit, storage and memory will have to be purchased and installed separately which I bought off of shoppingexpress.com.au for a total of AUD$772.
|Intel BXNUC10I5FNH4 i5-10210U Mini PC Kit||AUD$599|
|Crucial 2666MHz CL19 DDR4 Laptop RAM Memory 16GB||AUD$94|
|Crucial P1 500GB 1900MB/s 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD||AUD$79|
The specs may look modest but it runs VMWare ESXI with 3 VMs running without breaking a sweat.
That’s all for now. Next, I will be posting about installing VMWare ESXI on this Intel NUC.
